Austin Chow and Mary Ross Chow boast enviable jobs. Throughout the year, the husband-and-wife duo travel the globe in search of contemporary fashion and art, then return with their wares to their Colorado shop, Formation Boutique.
Then, twice a year, the couple hits the road — from California to Texas to Florida — to bring their handpicked finds to various cities, including Houston, to private residences, art galleries, hotels, and more.
The couple’s mobile showroom has popped up at River Oaks District, offering up women's fashion, footwear, jewelry, and accessories. The “mobile room” runs Thursday, November 21, through Sunday, November 24.
Along with fab fashion, the Formation pop up will offer fashion concierge, private styling, and art brokerage. During these pop up events experiences, the boutique offers free private shopping appointments (for individuals and groups), individualized styling sessions, custom art consultations, and refreshments for an intimate shopping experience.
Shoppers can expect fashionable looks from up-and-coming designers from Paris Fashion Week, such as White Story, Le Kasha 1918, Scotria, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, PH5, and more.
“We are excited to partner with River Oaks District to showcase a handpicked collection of products not currently available to the Houston shopper,” says Mary Ross Chow, in a statement. “Our assortment represents a unique mix of fashion and art, highlighting Formation’s contemporary aesthetic and the variety of services we offer to our clientele.”
Formation Boutique’s mobile showroom runs 11 am to 7 pm November 21 through November 24, at River Oaks District, 4444 Westheimer Rd.
