Hip-hop legend Ice Cube's first tour in a decade hits Houston this fall

Ice Cube will bring his “Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude” tour to Houston on September 13.
Rapper Ice Cube will headline a tour for the first time in over 10 years with his “Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude” tour, which will come to the Toyota Center in Houston on Saturday, September 13.
The hip-hop pioneer and co-founder of N.W.A. will celebrate his nearly 40-year career on the tour, which will also feature his most recent album, 2024's Man Down.
The all-arena tour will kick off on September 4 in Brooklyn, New York, traveling to 22 cities in the U.S. and Canada in just over a month.
In addition to Houston, Ice Cube will perform in Austin on September 14 and Fort Worth on October 2.
“Truth to Power is more than a tour — it’s a 40-year celebration,” Cube said in a statement. “The world needs truth. The people need power. And that’s what my music brings. It’s gonna be next level to go from city to city with a major production unlike anything I’ve ever done before.”
Ice Cube made his recording debut with N.W.A. in 1989 with the now-classic album, Straight Outta Compton (also the name of the 2015 biopic about the group).
He went solo in 1990 with AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted, releasing 11 albums over the past 35 years.
In addition to the tour, Ice Cube will also be involved in season 8 of Big3, the 3-on-3 basketball league he co-founded in 2017. The league will play games in Dallas and Houston in 2025, among other cities.
An exclusive fan club presale for the tour begins Wednesday, April 16 at 10 am local time. More details on how to access these presales will be announced on Ice Cube’s social media channels and website.
The general onsale begins on Friday, April 18 at 10 am local time at icecube.com.
