Grammy-winning rapper Doechii comes to Houston on new fall tour
Doechii will perform in Houston on Halloween.
Grammy-winning MC Doechii is already having an incredible August.
The hair-whipping, Florida-born rapper is on the cover of this month’s British Vogue. And, on Saturday, she made her debut at Lollapalooza in Chicago. She finished her set by delivering some news to the audience. "I'm gonna be going on tour on Oct. 14. What's up, y'all? Bye!” she said before nearby monitors began showing visuals for her upcoming tour, titled the Live from the Swamp Tour.
Produced by Live Nation, the 12-city, North American headline run will begin in Chicago on Tuesday, October 14, and end in Seattle on Monday, November 10. The tour will include two stops in Texas:
- The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving on Wednesday, October 29,
- 713 Music Hall in Houston on Friday, October 31 (aka Halloween night)
Also in October, she’ll perform at the Austin City Limits Festival on Saturday, October 4 and Saturday, October 11.
Doechii has been riding high since the release of her 2024 debut Alligator Bites Never Heal, distributed by Top Dawg Entertainment, which famously put Kendrick Lamar on the map. The album was at the top of Rolling Stone’s “20 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2024” list and placed in the top 10 of their overall “Best Albums of 2024” tally. Along with winning a Grammy earlier this year for Best Rap Album, Doechii was recently named Woman of the Year at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event, Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards and Outstanding Music Artist at the GLAAD Media Awards. She’ll finish off the year by making her first trip to Australia, where she’ll perform at the Spilt Milk Festival in December.
