Comicpalooza 2026 levels up with can't-miss celebrities, gaming, and fan experiences
Houston is gearing up for an unforgettable Memorial Day weekend as Comicpalooza returns May 22-24, transforming the George R. Brown Convention Center into a multiverse of fandom, celebrity, and immersive entertainment.
Known as the city’s premier pop culture convention, Comicpalooza continues to raise the bar in 2026 with a powerhouse lineup of celebrity guests spanning film, television, gaming, and animation. Please note that all Comicpalooza passes give you access to the celebrity guest panels.
This year’s announcement includes cast members from The Matrix, including Laurence Fishburne, Joe Pantoliano, and Marcus Chong. Their appearance offers a rare opportunity for fans to connect with the actors behind one of the most influential sci-fi franchises of all time.
Marvel fans also have plenty to look forward to with appearances from stars of Daredevil and Daredevil: Born Again, including Wilson Bethel, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Krysten Ritter, bringing together some of Marvel’s most compelling heroes and villains in one place.
Fan-favorite stars from Rick and Morty, including Harry Belden, Ian Cardoni, and Spencer Grammer, will be there. As the voices behind Morty Smith, Rick Sanchez, and Summer Smith, the trio brings the wildly popular animated series to life for fans eager to experience panels, autographs, and behind-the-scenes stories.
Beyond Hollywood, Comicpalooza embraces a wide spectrum of fandoms. Gaming fans will recognize the voices behind the legendary Halo series, including Steve Downes, Jen Taylor, and Tim Dadabo, among others.
Attendees can also expect appearances from beloved personalities like Spanish voice-over talent Laura Torres, Gerardo Reyero, and Lalo Garza; Edward James Olmos; and Steven Burns; along with creators, authors, and artists from across the entertainment world.
But Comicpalooza is more than celebrity sightings. It’s an immersive, all-encompassing experience. The convention floor will be packed with unique vendors, artist showcases, and exclusive merchandise, while live performances and interactive attractions keep the energy high all weekend long.
From medieval combat duels at Full Steel Combat and K-pop performances to a Japanese arcade experience provided by Okashi, and even a haunted house installation by 13th Floor Haunted House, there’s something for every kind of fan.
Cosplayers will once again take center stage, showcasing elaborate costumes inspired by comics, anime, film, and gaming. Meanwhile, families and younger fans can enjoy kid-friendly programming at Kidtopia presented by Kroger, making Comicpalooza an inclusive event for all ages.

At its core, Comicpalooza is a celebration of creativity and community, bringing together collectors, creators, and fans under one roof to share in the stories and characters they love. With even more guest announcements, panels, and attractions still to come, anticipation continues to build for what promises to be one of the biggest years yet.
