Country superstar Chris Stapleton travels to Houston in highly anticipated All-American Road Show tour
Soulful singer-songwriter-guitar whiz Chris Stapleton absolutely shredded at his recent RodeoHouston show to more than 72,000 fans. Now, fans who can't get enough of the Kentucky-born, outlaw country star — or those who missed his rodeo show — are in luck, as The Traveller will return.
Stapleton has added a Houston stop to his highly anticipated “All-American Road Show” tour. He'll perform at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on October 13 with Charley Crockett and Nikki Lane in support. As CultureMap previously reported, Stapleton will make several Texas Road Show stops in Texas that same month.
Tickets go on sale at 10 am Friday, April 14 with Stapleton’s fan club scoring early access to tickets and VIP packages with pre-sale running from 10 am Tuesday, April 11 through 10 pm Thursday, April 13.
As Citi is the official card of Chris Stapleton’s “All-American Road Show” tour, Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets from 10 am Tuesday, April 11 through Thursday, April 13. Get more details at www.citientertainment.com.
An 8x Grammy, 15x CMA and 10x ACM Award-winner, Stapleton also boasts one of the most enduring albums in recent memory. His album Traveller currently sits at No. 56 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, a mere eight years since the album's release. As CultureMap rodeo reviewer Craig Hlavaty noted, that kind of longevity is usually reserved for the likes of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (#133) and Fleetwood Mac's Rumours (#29).
Stapleton's follow-up album, 2020's Starting Over, sits at No. 79 and won Best Country Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
Recently named CMA Male Vocalist of the Year for the sixth time — a record for most wins ever in that category — Stapleton will also headline the Stagecoach Music Festival on April 30.
In his (rare) spare time, Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, run the Outlaw State of Kind charitable fund, which supports a variety of causes that are close to their heart. Most recently, their “Kentucky Rising” concert last fall raised over $2.8 million to support flood relief in Eastern Kentucky.
