Alanis Morissette to hit the road on summer 2024 tour including Houston date
Singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette will continue her recent resurgence with a new summer tour for 2024: Called "The Triple Moon Tour," it will hit 31 cities across North America, including a stop at Houston's Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on June 16.
The tour starts on June 9 in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by three stops in Texas:
- June 12: Austin
- June 14: Dallas
- June 16: Houston
According to a release, this tour is a follow-up to her 2021-2022 global tour, which celebrated 25 years of her iconic album, Jagged Little Pill. This tour will allow Morissette to showcase her recent work, including 2020's Such Pretty Forks in the Roadand 2022's The Storm Before the Calm.
She will be joined by special guest Joan Jett & the Blackhearts on most dates, as well as opening act Morgan Wade.
Morissette also recently released released a new Christmas single, "Last Christmas,” that is a part of an EP featuring previously released Alanis holiday covers like John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s “Happy Xmas (War is Over),” William Chatterton Dix’s “What child is this?,” and Katherine Kennicott Davis’ “Little Drummer Boy.”
Tickets for the tour will be available starting with a Citi presale, as Citi cardmembers can purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, November 14 at 10 am until Thursday, November 16 at 10 pm through the Citi Entertainment program.
Additionally, fans can sign up for Morissette’s mailing list by Wednesday, November 15 to get first access to presale tickets. More presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale, beginning on Friday, November 17 at 10 am at alanis.com.
