The Alley Theatre is returning to its downtown home for the first time since Hurricane Harvey, and just in time for a Houston holiday tradition.
Doors open Friday night for the staging of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol, which continues through December 30.
Although much of the lower level of the downtown theater was flooded out by Harvey, necessitating the movement of fall productions to the University of Houston, managing director Dean Gladden says the production will be on a stage that wasn't damaged by the flood.
