Divine Miss M's first major tour in a decade includes Houston stop with tribute to girl groups
Bette Midler is coming to Houston.
The legendary singer announced Monday she will return to the stage for her first major tour in a decade, coinciding with the release of her new CD, It's the Girls!, on Tuesday. The concert will include Midler's greatest hits as well as material from the new album, which pays tribute to girl groups through the ages, from the Andrews Sisters to the Supremes to TLC.
The 22-city tour kicks off in Hollywood, Fla., on May 8, 2015 and makes a Houston stop at the Toyota Center on May 18. Houston is the only Texas stop on the tour.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Nov. 24 online at Live Nation and Toyota Center, as well as at most area Randall's stores and by phone at 1-866-4-HOUTIX. Every online purchase will include a copy of Midler's new CD.
