Hard Candy Ass: Madonna avoids scorned trainer, entire U.S. in global fitnessplan

It's been a year since Madonna broke up with longtime trainer Tracy Anderson, but her latest venture seems to be a particularly stinging slap in the face.

Madge is teaming up with her manager, Guy Oseary, to open a slew of global gyms — to be called Hard Candy Fitness — with the first (luxe, 30,000-square-foot) location hitting Mexico City Nov. 29.

Oddly, no locations are yet planned for the United States. Instead, 10 more locations are slated for Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Europe and Asia.

Anderson and Madonna reportedly parted ways after three years when Anderson, who also trains Madonna BFF Gwyneth Paltrow, began dating Philippe van den Bossche — head of Madonna's Raising Malawi charity. Madonna lost the exec when he resigned his position to bunk up with Anderson in New York.

Anderson owns her own (reportedly struggling) $900-per-month-membership cost gym in TriBeCa. Maybe Madonna's skipping over the U.S. market is some kind of crazy-toned olive branch?
