New stores & events light up CITYCENTRE calendar
Along with the amazing array of established favorites, CITYCENTRE is buzzing with new retailers, fresh concepts and a fall calendar full of events you don’t want to miss this season.
Great fashion is always in style and CITYCENTRE’s crop of new boutiques brings you special pieces just in time for holiday parties and cooler weather. Everybody loves a well-dressed man and the selection at Dryden-Kreps features men’s suiting, sport coats, custom clothing, furnishings, shoes and leather goods. You can find Dryden-Kreps just across from Urban Outfitters.
What would a look be without the right accessories? The new Charming Charlie in CITYCENTRE is a wonderland of jewelry, handbags, shoes, clothing and gift items. Arranged by color and totally on-trend, Charming Charlie opens in November and is a definite destination for holiday gifts, plus something extra for you too.
Texas designer Kendra Scott brings her colorful, oversized jewelry to CITYCENTRE this November too. A celebrity favorite, Kendra Scott’s affordable array of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings are a modern and easy addition to every look.
Envi Boutique, a women’s store offering day-to-night dressing with pieces from Covet, Miilla, Veronica M, Chaser, Plenty by Tracy Reese, The Furies and Analili is also opening just in time for the holiday season.

Ghouls and boys of all sizes will have a monster’s ball Oct. 27 in the CITYCENTRE plaza for Spooktacular. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the plaza is a one-stop shop for Halloween fun with a pumpkin patch, hay rides, face painting, games and treats, popcorn, a bouncy house and more. Costumes encouraged!
CITYCENTRE sparkles and shimmers Nov. 17 when the Glisten Holiday Lighting kicks off at 7 p.m. Don't miss the artsy ice-carving and the Canstruction installation of non-perishable foods to be donated to the Houston Food bank.
Show those holiday treats who’s boss during the Rudolph Run on Dec. 8. Choose from running a 10K, 5K or 1K and make sure to look for a special appearance from Santa Claus.
What could be better than ringing in 2013 under the stars at CITYCENTRE? Usher in New Year’s Eve with a DJ and fireworks from 7 p.m. to 12:30 and make it a full celebration with an overnight package from Hotel Sorella, plus seated dinners and chic cocktail parties at CITYCENTRE restaurants and bars.
Every week offers something special at CITYCENTRE, where live music and markets light up the plaza. Through the end of November, Sundays ay CITYCENTRE are a destination for shoppers who delight in discovering new finds from local vendors. Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, are the perfect time to load up on fresh fruits, veggies and other grocery items at the Eco-Farmers Market, hosted by Ruggles Green.
