Beyoncé is not pregnant, people: But someone close to her is
Again rumors have been swirling that Houston's own Beyoncé Knowles is pregnant with Third Coast royalty, and again the rumors have apparently been proven false. The Internet fever had major news outlets as established as Reuters and ABC News reporting that she was with Jay-Z's child — all based on an unsubstantiated, anonymously sourced story in Us Weekly.
Beyoncé's mom, Tina, took to The Ellen Degeneres Show to lay the pregnancy talk to rest and drop a bombshell: "The truth is that it’s not Beyoncè that’s pregnant, it’s me."
Tina, who is 56 years old, was kidding, but said she felt the need to put ever-present baby buzz to bed, although she is looking forward to the day the talk becomes true. Tina is already grandmother to 24-year-old Solange Knowles' 6-year-old son, Julez.
