He's in: All Hans on the Symphony deck
With ticket sales up and a trip to Carnegie Hall on the horizon, the Houston Symphony announced that Hans Graf will continue as music director for four more years. His contract has been extended through the 2012-2013 season. He will then remain with the symphony as conductor laureate, with two weeks of concerts through the 2014-2015 season. Graf is the symphony's fifteenth music director since it was founded in 1913. He and his wife Margarita maintain homes in Salzburg, Austria and Houston.
