The Bachelor Guest Quarters
Bachelorette star comes to Houston for high-profile breast work, stays with theRoses
Trista Sutter made television history in 2003 as the inaugural star of ABC's beloved dating competition The Bachelorette. And after nearly a decade of happy marriage to suitor Ryan Sutter that saw the birth of two children, Maxwell and Blakesley, the former Miami Heat cheerleader remains one of the reality series' greatest success stories.
On the eve of her 40th birthday, however, Sutter unexpectedly found herself looking for a change . . . and, thanks to a referral from fellow Bachelor franchise regular Erica Rose, she made her way to Houston for a dramatic makeover by acclaimed plastic surgeon Franklin Rose, Erica's father.
"I really never thought of myself as someone who would have plastic surgery," she told Inside Edition in an interview that aired Wednesday. "I just really started feeling the aging process kicking in." In mid-June, Sutter underwent an internal breast lift as well as an upper and lower eyelid lift.
The Roses were kind enough to host Sutter for five days, taking her for walks around the neighborhood and preparing healthy meals to help the recovery process.
"Trista initially came to us looking for breast augmentation, which is fairly common for women after they nurse their children," Franklin Rose tells CultureMap. "We also ended up taking care of some extra skin and general bagginess around the eyes."
The doctor, who has operated on Bachelor finalists Vienna Girardi and Ella Nolan, laughs when highlighting the business his daughter has brought to his practice in the past few years.
"Erica's currently living out in Los Angeles and sees a lot of her friends from The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad. We've had several of her friends stay with us here at the house to recover after their surgeries. My wife Cindi and I even have a special area set up for them. We jokingly call it 'The Bachelor Guest Quarters.' "

"Trista's just delightful, so we were happy to have her with us," Franklin Rose says. "This was sort of a 40th birthday gift to herself and, while I wasn't able to make to her home in Vail for her recent photo shoots, I've heard she looks fantastic. She says she's delighted with the results."
While he couldn't reveal a name, Rose did mention that a current Bachelor Pad contestant would be making her way to Houston soon for plastic surgery of her own.
