The Houston Texans are the hottest (it's certified!)
Breaking news: The Houston Texans have the hottest training camp in the NFL. We couldn't agree more. With a choice cast of first-class juiceheads, Houston's team has got it going on in terms of being a hotbed of hotties.
CultureMap gave this season's roster the once-over, and from the long list of lovelies, selected the créme de la créme of pigskin pushers:
Kevin Bentley: The fancypants last name belies the linebacker's classic good looks. Bonus points for the degree from Northwestern.
Kris Brown: Get a load of those pearly whites. The number one stunna's stunning smile simply communicates two reassuring words: Dental plan. This football hottie will take care of you, no questions asked. Who cares if he misses the important field goals?
Derek Fine: The name says it all: This specimen is fine with a capital "F." That jawline is sharp enough to cut your heart in two. We're pleased that Fine ditched offers from the Buffalo Bills and St. Louis Rams in favor of the hottest training camp in the country.
Demeco Ryans: His innocent features say super sweet, but Ryans' tackling on the field proves that this Pro-Bowler knows how to get physical. Plus ... just look at those arms.
Kevin Walter: With his missing-link jaw and pretty, blank gaze, Walter is working a vacant stare that just screams, "I didn't finish high school." This is the Joey Tribbiani of the Texans. Don't be fooled — this skilled, physical receiver with sure hands is the king of the hottest training camp.
With such a roster of rockin' bods, it's no wonder the Weather Channel labeled the Texans as having the hottest training camp.
UPDATE: According to Jonathan Erdman of The Weather Channel, the rankings of hottest training camps were culled from average August temperatures, average August highs and average August days in the 90s. Apparently, Houston ranked first in every category.
Statistics aside, we still think that the football studs have a lot to do with the mercury rising around the Texans' training camp. Can't wait for it to open.
