Angie Harmon almost quits Hollywood for the kids: Then she's offered TV money
In an interview to promote her new TNT show, Rizzoli & Isles, 37-year-old Angie Harmon admitted that she considered quitting acting and moving down South with husband Jason Sehorn in order to raise "some strong Southern women with morals, ethics and values.”
Getting her three daughters out of Hollywood's glaring limelight is important to the Dallas-born star, just not quite important enough to turn down a starring role on a new detective show.
Hey, I admire her — but I'd admire her more if she'd just come out with it and say she wants to have it all, that 37 is too young to retire, and she's still got a lot of career ahead of her.
Instead we get this: "Once we finish shooting this first season, sometime in August, we’re definitely going to move, for the kids.”
I wouldn't want to try and impose curfew on a trifecta of Lindsay Lohans either, but what happens when the show gets renewed? You gonna go all Favre on us?
