He's So Punny
Bachelorette seeker Jonathan Novack isn't making progress, but he is making puns
Houston's own Jonathan Novack, a former weekend weatherman for Channel 2, made his debut as a contestant on The Bachelorette, which premiered last night, but he isn't making waves among viewers. He is, however, making puns.
"I'm here to bring some sunshine into your life," he tells Ali Fedotowsky after stepping out of the limo, not backflipping off of it like another contestant did.
Really? I think he could've done better. Perhaps, "storms are brewing in your eyes," or "I'ma take you to cloud nine." Or maybe a more direct, "I make it rain."
At any rate, we may not have to deal with Jonathan's uninspired humor much longer.
Spoiler alert — don't read past here if you don't want to know more — Reality Steve reports that Novack doesn't make it past episode four, when the guys have to particpate in a fake audition for The Lion King. It'll probably a slightly embarrassing episode for our hometown star, but it can't be as bad as Chris Klein's Mamma Mia audition.
