National Endowment for the Arts shows Houston more love

Spacetaker was recently awarded its first grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, making it one of 10 Houston-area arts organizations to receive the Access to Artistic Excellence grant this year.

Contemporary music group Musiqa was awarded an NEA grant, its third consecutive award, earlier this month.

Spacetaker will use the funding for professional development resources, including the addition of a computer lab at the Artist Resource Center (ARC).
