Beyoncé wears many titles: singer, actress, Grammy winner, mother, designer, businesswoman, philanthropist, unstoppable global force. Now she can add one more to her collection: World's Most Beautiful Woman, a title officially bestowed by People Magazine.

"Being named the world's most beautiful woman is really hard to say. It's overwhelming, it makes me feel crunchy, which means embarrassed," Beyoncé says in a behind-the-scenes video diary.

Beyoncé is only the second African-American to be named People's Most Beautiful since the list debuted in 1990, following Halle Berry in 2003. The Houston native also said that being named most beautiful means something different to her now that she's a mother.

"My mother is absolutely the most beautiful woman in the world and I've had an incredible example. I know that women are like fine wine and we get better with age," Beyoncé says. "I feel more beautiful than I have ever felt because I have given birth.

"I have never felt so connected and I've never felt like I had such a purpose on this Earth.
