    Play On: Carrie Underwood headed to Houston

    Grab that "Cowboy Casanova" and mark down October 6 — the date that country music's "All-American Girl," Carrie Underwood, will stop at Houston's Toyota Center on an extension of her huge 2010 "Play On Tour."

    Five-time Grammy winner Underwood is fresh off winning the Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year award on Sunday (the first female to win it twice), as well as a special Triple Crown Award to recognize her pervious wins of Top New Female Vocalist of the Year, Top Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

    Tickets for Underwood's Houston concert will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. via toyotacentertix.com, 1-866-4-HOU-TIX and at Houston-area Randall's locations.

    It's no surprise that most of the worst movies in any given year tend to come from big studios, as the big budget marketing campaigns behind those films build up huge expectations that are then dashed when audiences see what little effort was put into making the movies broadly appealing. Whether it was too much fan service or too little understanding of what it takes to make a story coherent, the worst movies of 2025 were barely worth watching, either in theaters or at home.
