Survivor: Heroes vs Villains is turning out to be one of the most entertaining seasons in the reality TV pioneer series' history.

If you were ever a Survivor fan (haven’t we all had a phase?), you would appreciate this season. Splitting up the most skilled deceivers from the supposedly trustworthy and valiant — it’s become an entertaining psychological work. Russell Hantz is of course leading the charge.

Russell started out with only two girls and at odds with Boston Rob’s much larger alliance. Now his alliance has grown to four, and there’s only one left on the opposing alliance — Sandra.

The good news for Sandra, Russell hasn’t begun to figure out what a threat she is. She’s already fed him a lie to get Couch voted off instead of herself, and I suspect she'll pull a few more maneuvers like this. With the merge coming up this week, Sandra's about to gain some allies.

An even bigger threat to Russell is the much closer, Parvati. Russell loves his women, but he loves them dumb. Parvati is far from that, and Russell is clearly blinded by her beauty and charm. At the moment she has a hidden immunity idol he knows nothing about and has definitely made moves to secure her and Danielle’s future over his.

In Russell’s favor is the stupidity of the Heroes tribe. Seeing male after male get voted off the Villain tribe, JT and Rupert decided the Villains had an all-girl alliance. So what’s the next logical thing to do? Clearly, it's give your only immunity idol to Russell so he can save himself.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw it, but the Heroes thought they were brilliant as they tried to save Russell from the wrath of the ladies. Naive, gullible Heroes. Russell’s the one calling the shots!

Despite this huge advantage, I still think Russell isn’t making it to the end and Colby will outlast him. I don’t think Russell has grasped how dangerous the women he’s with are, and I predict that will be his downfall. As a female, I'd definitely enjoy an end like that.
