CITYCENTRE: In the Middle of It All
Thirsty for fashion? CITYCENTRE's Fashiontini serves up a stylish night
Fashiontinis anyone?
Spring style is on tap at CITYCENTRE’s central plaza on March 22 for a glamorous night of fashion under the stars and the first look at DISTRICT, the center’s new biannual lifestyle magazine.
Thanks to CITYCENTRE’s generous selection of retailers, the runway show features looks from Anthropologie, belle la vie, Elaine Turner, Eye Couture, Free People, LMD, Paul Carter Jewels, Urban Outfitters and perhaps a surprise store or two.
Handbag and shoe designer Elaine Turner, Houston’s style bon vivant and CITYCENTRE retailer, emcees the 6:30 show with looks worn by Page Parkes models. And because haute style is for all, be on the lookout for “Guy Candy,” attractive male trainers from LifeTime Athletic.
Tickets are $20 and come loaded with perks such as fashion show seating, a goodie bag full of coupons from CITYCENTRE retailers and restaurants plus the evening's most important style statement — wristbands.
Flash a wristband for cocktails like Straits' new vodka infusions, as well as beverages from Bistro Bar, Houston Motor Club’s the Marque, and The Tasting Room. No party would be complete without bites, so CITYCENTRE is serving up noshes from Bistro Alex, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Houston Texans Grille, OLIVE & VINE, Red Mango and Savory Celebration.
Fashiontini gets underway at 5:30 p.m. and it’s smart to be fashionably on-time for this affair, since the first 100 guests receive tickets for two to Studio Movie Grill.
Adding to the evening’s excitement is the highly-anticipated unveiling of DISTRICT, a gorgeous glossy magazine focused on the food, fashion and fun found throughout CITYCENTRE. The inaugural issue includes stories about everything from one-stop luxury wedding planning and olive oil to a Cocktail Calorie Countdown and a look at a local charity.
DISTRICT is available throughout CITYCENTRE and mailed to Memorial-area residents. Readers can also subscribe on the CITYCENTRE website.
A portion of the Fashiontini proceeds benefits Yellowstone Academy and tickets are available at the event.
