Chester Called In Sick
Cancelled Linkin Park show gets a new Toyota Center date
Rockers, rappers and rock-rappers will have to wait a couple weeks before they get to party with Linkin Park. Tonight's performance at the Toyota Center — which was postponed due to sickness on Monday by the band itself— is now scheduled for March 3.
Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington is ill and under doctor's orders to refrain from performing until he feels better.
The band, through concert promoter Live Nation, extended its sincerest regrets to fans in Houston and apologized for any disappointment the delay has caused. Support band The Prodigy will not return with Linkin Park for the rescheduled date. There is no word yet on who might replace them in the opening slot.
Those who have tickets should hold onto them. They will be honored at the show's new March 3 date. Ticket holders who cannot make the new date should call 866-446-8849 for refund information.
