In one of his final shows on NBC, Conan O'Brien pulled a fast-one on the Peacock Network. He showcased the most expensive car in the world — The Bugatti Veyron — and dressed it up as a mouse while playing the Rolling Stones song, "Satisfaction." "The good news is until NBC yanks us off the air, we can pretty much do whatever we want and, this is the best part, we can do whatever we want and they have to pay for it," the talk show host explained.
Since NBC does not own the rights to the song, re-airing the clip on the Internet would cost the network a bundle. So NBC pulled the sketch from Hulu and NBC.com. But you can see it here. We can hardly wait to see what else Conan does to sock it to NBC on his last show Friday night.
On Thursday night, Conan had a skit involving a racehorse dressed in mink watching restricted programming. He estimated it cost NBC $4.8 million.
It's hard to feel too sorry for the talk show host, however, because he is walking away with a reported $45 million severance package for him and his staff. And he'll likely end up with a show of his own on Fox.
