Bun B shakes off taxi cab accident to cheer on Houston Texans
Houston hip hop artist Bun B and manager Anzel "Red" Jennings were in a minor taxi cab accident Thursday morning at the corner of Broadway and 9th Street in Manhattan on the way to an interview at the offices of Billboard magazine.
It remains unclear whether the taxi hit another car, or vice versa. The musician's publicist contacted emergency officials immediately after the collision, drawing an ambulance and NYPD officers in a matter of minutes.
Both Bun and Jennings, who received a minor injury on his forehead, were given a clean bill of health at New York's Beth Israel Medical Center. The publicist said the two men are "OK."
"I am fine," the hip hop star tweeted later. "I'm not hospitalized. Wow . . . the Internet.."
Bun B has returned to Houston, where he's been tweeting about the Houston Texans playoff showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. "Bengals fans..u do realize that Southern hospitality doesn't exist tomorrow in Reliant Stadium right? Bring your earplugs! #GoTexans," was just one of Bun B's Texans tweets.
Random side note: According to Bun B's Twitter posts, David Duchovny is a fan of Bun's famed hip hop actUGK.
