Snuggly Bear the Lab mix is looking for his forever family at Houston SPCA
The Labrador Retriever is the most popular dog breed in the United States, according to the American Kennel Club. Lucky for you, Bear, a one-year-old Lab mix, is currently waiting at the Houston SPCA.
This young male pup is only a year old, but he's ready to devote every day to his new family and exhibit that famous Lab loyalty.
He's also ready to hoist all 61 pounds of himself into your lap — this Bear is a snuggle bear through and through.
As a younger dog, Bear loves fetching toys and taking long walks, making him the perfect companion for an active family.
Through their long-running partnership with the Houston SPCA, Houston Texans punter Cameron Johnston and his wife Tia are covering Bear's adoption fee.
That also includes his microchip, neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, and a free sample bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
If you are ready to adopt this handsome guy, visit the William and Evelyn Griffin Campus for All Animals, which is open every day from 11 am-6 pm.
Bear is among the thousands of animals who receive care at the Houston SPCA each year, thanks to donations. This year, please consider supporting the animal rescue and protection organization, and have your donation matched (up to $45,000) through December 31.
