    New Year's Eve in Houston brings plenty of interesting hotel deals. With special room rates, dinner menus and parties, there are a lot of choices to make across the board.

    With that in mind, here are 10 hotel deals worth your attention.

    NYE CELEBRATIONS + ACCOMMODATIONS

    HOTEL SORELLA
    Secure one of the best seats in the house for CityCentre's midnight fireworks spectacular at Hotel Sorella. In addition to stylish accommodations and a champagne welcome gift, the hotel's “Quite the Night Monnalisa” package gets you exclusive access for two to lounge Monnalisa where you'll enjoy unobstructed views of the plaza and outdoor excitement from the poolside terrace.

    HYATT REGENCY HOUSTON

    In its 35th year, Houston’s longest running New Year’s Eve party at the Hyatt Regency downtown will span four floors and feature two live bands, a DJ, party favors, and a 50,000-balloon cascade at midnight. The party runs from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

    The hotel’s "Celebration Package" includes overnight accommodations, eight beverage tickets, party favors and full access to the party. The "VIP Package" includes dinner for two in Spindletop, overnight accommodations, eight beverage tickets, party favors and full access to the party.

    ROYAL SONESTA HOTEL HOUSTON

    Start the evening at The Restaurant at Royal Sonesta with a four-course prix fixe dinner and then cap off the night with a luxurious overnight stay.

    The "Midnight Mischief" deal offers an overnight stay that includes a bottle of champagne for your room and free valet. The “Royal Rendezvous” package includes the prix fixe dinner for two, a welcome bottle of champagne and complimentary valet.

    Chef Brian Robertson is creating a four-course culinary feast this New Year's Eve at the San Luis in Galveston. There's also a premium bar, entertainment by The Billie Ledbetter Orchestra, party hats and favors, champagne toast and balloon drop at the stroke of midnight. The festivities begin at 8 p.m.

    The "Moonlight and Romance" package includes an overnight stay, six drink tickets per person, party hats and favors, and a champagne toast at midnight.

    The cost: Entrance to the party is $190 per person. The "Moonlight and Romance" package runs $619.

    HOTEL ZAZA

    Ring in the New Year with Hotel ZaZa. The hotel fete is from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Included in the price of admission — light passed bites, champagne toast at midnight, party favors, live entertainment, and complimentary valet.

    The "Experience Package" offers guests a one night stay, late check-out, split of champagne in room, four-course prix fixe dinner for two at Monarch Bistro, admission for two to the New Year's Eve Celebration and brunch for two at Monarch.

    THE HOUSTONIAN HOTEL

    New Year's Eve at The Houstonian will feature a party with The Fried Ice Cream Band, a DJ and casino lounge. Purchase a ticket and you'll also get seven drink tickets per guest, hors d'oeuvres, a midnight champagne toast and party favors. The casino lounge will open at 8 p.m. The party will begin at 9 p.m.

    The "Platinum Package" hotel package includes an overnight stay and brunch at Olivette. The "Gold Package" includes entry to the party and three-course dinner for two with wine pairings at Olivette, but no sleeping accommodations.

    The cost: Tickets to the party only are $135 per person or $250 per couple. The "Platinum Package" is $300 per person or $475 per couple. The "Gold Package" is $225 per person or $450 per couple.

    FOUR SEASONS HOTEL HOUSTON

    The Four Seasons will welcome you with a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival. The first dinner seating is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and features a five-course dinner.

    The New Year’s Eve Gala begins at 8:30 pm with a seven-course dinner menu and offers live music from Ira Perez and Band, dancing and a midnight champagne toast. Party in lobby lounge starting at 5 p.m. with live music by Adam Estes & Sunjay Arya from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

    The cost: The first seating from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. is $85 per person. The gala is $155 per person. The lounge party is free with cash bar. Overnight room rates start at $150.

    DJ Mad Hatta hosts the "5 Minutes to Midnight NYE 2013" party at the JW Marriott from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Mix and mingle in four ballrooms and dance the night away to R&B and hip-hop music plus the sounds of DJs like Rob G and B Love. Cash bar. The VIP option adds complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres, a private dance floor and a midnight champagne toast.
