Someone's coming, not leaving
Canada's ESG picks up some of Continental and NASA's slack
With the fleeing Continental fleet and NASA projects being redirected from Houston, it comes as at least small comfort that ESG Solutions (Engineering Seismology Group), an industry leader in microseismic technology and services, is opening its United States headquarters in Houston.
The new Houston HQ will allow ESG to better service its growing U.S. client base and existing international customers.
"We are very excited to bring ESG's innovative microseismic solutions to our clients in the Texas region," Ted Urbancic, director of global energy services said in a written statement. "Being closer to our clients allows us to efficiently deliver our suite of integrated engineering, geomechanical and advanced microseismic solutions."
The company is also opening offices in Denver and Amsterdam.
Whether they chose to land downtown, the Energy Corridor, or elsewhere, ESG's arrival comes as a welcome relief in light of recent companies departures.
