Bill White wins 79 percent of the early voting ... in the CulturePoll
Can CulturePolls predict the future?
Probably not. But the Bill White for Texas campaign already has at least one minor win to celebrate.
In last week's CulturePoll, a landslide of the CultureMap readers who took the time to vote decided that Bill White deserves to be the next governor of Texas. Of course, the question was who deserves to hold the state's highest office, not who will.
The official polls have White trailing Rick Perry substantially. Even if White gave Perry a thoroughly epic beating in our unscientific poll.
So what do you think, CultureMappers? Does White actually have a chance make Perry sweat Tuesday night?
Since we're not one to let the hot button issues flutter by without you weighing in, we've serving up yet another side of controversy with your opinionated sandwich as well.
In our latest CulturePoll, we want to hear what you think about Montrose's new H-E-B behemoth, slated to stash itself on W. Alabama and Dunlavy, across from poor, defenseless Fiesta.
H-E-B has three official proposals, but you have the option of choosing between those and the Montrose Land Defense Coalition's utopian favorite from architect Robert Morris.
Or you can tell them to stuff it, and chuck 'em all.
So whatcha waitin' for? Vote now, or forever hold your reusable shopping bag.
