It's an exciting discipline that is garnering the attention of Hollywood, Houston, and the world. It's seems like any newspaper in any town -- let alone metropolitan city -- has covered and interviewed the practitioners of Parkour (tracuers) for a story. Now rules are being enforced on tracuers in New York who will be banned from "reckless use of state property" in Battery City Park. The misuse or property includes climbing walls and using structures that aren't used for their true creation, i.e. rails, stairs, etc. Tracuers who don't adhear to the new regulations will be fined $300 dollars.
