Drunk Stripper Tragedy
18-year-old stripper leaves a Houston strip club allegedly drunk, kills a man in police chase
An 18-year-old stripper at the Sin City gentleman's club has been charged with murder and intoxicated manslaughter following a dramatic west side crash that left one man dead.
The Houston Police Department reports that Dalia Iris Alfaro was driving home from work Tuesday morning when a patrol officer spotted her speeding in her Dodge pickup along Westheimer near Gessner. As the officer attempted to pull her over for a traffic violation, Alfaro fled west for two miles until she collided into another vehicle at Kirkwood.
Alfaro continued the chase for several more miles at speeds approaching 85 miles an hour, according to KHOU Ch.11. After running a red light at the Eldridge Parkway intersection, the exotic dancer slammed into two cars and a cement truck.
One of drivers in the other cars — 29-year-old Natividad Alaniz — died at the scene while Alfaro was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital for minor injuries. She was arrested when blood tests allegedly revealed she was legally drunk.
Court documents show that Alfaro is no stranger to local law enforcement, with a rap sheet that includes drug possession, evading arrest and graffiti. She remains in a Harris County jail on an $80,000 bond.
