Curb Sex Appeal
Near nude muscle studs invade Houston's streets for a good cause: Boxers, nobriefs — or pants
Downtown denizens were treated to a trio of shirtless models standing outside a Subway sandwich shop at the corner of Main and Preston streets on Tuesday morning. This wasn't the opening of an Abercrombie & Fitch outlet, though. The muscled men, clad only in boxers and a scant neck tie, were promoting a national suit drive organized by Men's Wearhouse.
"They've been doing this all around the country for the past four years," said model Darryl Perrilloux as he simultaneously flexed a rock-hard eight-pack and flashed smiles towards passersby boarding the METRORail.
Men's Wearhouse is requesting donations during the entire month of August for suits, sport coats, slacks, dress shirts and the like, which will be donated directly to nonprofit organizations to distribute to men in need of office clothing. Women's apparel is also accepted.
So far, the boys have received a positive response. "One girl tried to grab his ass," model Cameron Reagan said of his buff colleague Joel Powell.
"We're bringing awareness to the cause," Perrilloux said. "These people need suits for job interviews so they look professional when they go in."

"There was a group of 50 women on a balcony who would come down in pairs to take photos," said Perrilloux, who told CultureMap that there are 111 "ambassadors" hustling the charity cause on street corners around the city today.
