Gonna make you sweat: Museum "Yoga Jam" draws big crowd to sculpture garden and Krishna Das movie
Talk about hot yoga!
The Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden was the scene of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston's first-ever "Yoga Jam" Saturday morning. More than 200 yoga enthusiasts showed up for the outdoor group class conducted by instructors from Yoga One and Big Yoga studios. Afterwards, they trekked across the street to the museum's Brown Auditorium to watch a screening of One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das.
The movie, which details the life of world-renowned spiritual teacher, chant master, and Grammy-winning recording artist Das, will be shown again today (Sunday June 23) at 5 p.m.
