Getting in the Chuck E. Cheese spirit? Houston teacher orders students to punchkid in the face
And the mad string of Chuck E. Cheese violence continues.
A teacher in southwest Houston has been fired for allegedly telling her students to punch another child in the face during a field trip to the plagued pizza-arcade chain (this one in Sugar Land).
More amazing? She was the second teacher fired in six weeks for letting another student deck the kid, the Houston Chronicle is reporting, which makes us wonder — could it be he deserved it?
The 5-year-old had punched a little girl in the face, and the disgraced teacher was evidently trying to teach him a lesson. The school's director has come out in support of the teacher, despite having to fire her, and said the boy's parents hadn't responded to the school's pleas to help control his often violent behavior.
"The kid didn’t get beat up — this is a kid who has repeatedly beat up kids in my school," he said. "What he got back ... was absolutely minor in comparison to what he did to this poor little girl."
The private Robindell School charges $110-per -week for up to 12 hours of daily care. The question remains: Why they didn't simply remove a child with a history of behavioral problems?
No matter now, the boy's outraged mother has reportedly withdrawn the abused alleged bully and her two other children.
Whatever happened to timeout?
