The event honors individuals whose efforts have raised awareness of arts education in Houston and who have had a deep, positive and lasting impact on students' equitable access to arts education. The gala, themed "Bourbon Street Boogie," celebrates 58 years of arts education opportunities provided by Young Audiences of Houston to children across the region.
The mission of Young Audiences of Houston is to educate and inspire children through the arts, to make the arts an integral part of the school curriculum, and to advance the field of arts in education through teacher professional development training and community partnerships.
