The Yale Market was created when a unique opportunity to support the local Houston community presented itself. Richard Devine, owner of National Tree & Shrub Nursery, shut down his business and had an inventory of over 2,000 plants that needed a home. The donation of the plants prompted a purposeful endeavor to create this pop-up market & plant sale to benefit local Houston charity, Today’s Harbor for Children.

The plant sale will have over 2,000 plants for sale, ranging in cost of over 50-80 percent off retail price. Different varieties of plants are for sale, including ground covers, sculpture plants, trees, exotic plants, vines, palms, and more. One hundred percent of the sales from the plant sale will be donated to Today's Harbor for Children.

In addition to the plant sale, The Yale Market will host a pop-up market under the open air space with over 30 local Houston artisans, vendors, and restaurants. One hundred percent of the booth fees from the pop-up market vendors are being donated to Today's Harbor.
