The Jazz Houston Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Vincent Gardner, presents Grammy Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning trumpeter, composer, educator, and scholar, Wynton Marsalis, in concert. The program will consist of hard-swinging, grooving jazz compositions and arrangements written by Marsalis, Vincent Gardner and others from all eras of jazz. Houston’s premier Ensemble, The Jazz Houston Orchestra, will be showcased alongside Marsalis in what will be his first solo visit to Houston in over 15 years.
