Experience World War II firsthand as the museum transforms its front entrance area into a military camp complete with authentic officer's tent, troop tents, a 75 mm Pack Howitzer, deuce and a half trucks, a half-ton truck, jeeps and even a half-track.

Mingle with members of the Sixth Cavalry Historical Association as they bring history to life as officers and infantrymen. The Sixth Cavalry will set up a living history camp in front of the museum, along with several of the vehicles that were widely used in World War II. They will also set up a large display within the museum that will showcase the weapons used and the uniforms worn by servicemen and women. Once inside the museum, learn more about weaponry, military uniforms and Morse code, and meet other special guests, including General George S. Patton.
