A successful picture book is an art form that combines lyrical language and dynamic images, each dependent on the other. To compete, the work must shine and follow the conventions of today's crowded market.
In this hands-on revision workshop, participants will take a look at characters, setting, plot and picture book language. Writers will complete exercises to polish their prose and create a dummy to see how the text fits into a picture book format.
