WorldFest Film Festival: Bodhisattva
In the Indian film Bodhisattva, director San Banarje examines one family's relationship in urban India after a daughter is unable to forgive her father for her mother's suicide. Maya, the daughter, returns to India after an extended stay in the United States and moves in with an old classmate and her husband. What starts out as a fun time turns into a taut psychological battle that peaks to a shattering climax. See the trailer for the film here.
