More than 200 new indie films from 37 countries, including 20 premieres in the new Panorama China, will be featured in the 49th Annual Worldfest International Independent Film Festival.

The Opening Night World Premiere is Last Man Club, which was directed by prior Remi winner Bo Brinkman with Barry Corbin, who will attend in person to accept his Remi Lifetime Achievement Award. The film's producer is Houstonian Linda Pandolph. The Opening Night World Premiere of Panorama China is The Compact Density of Stone, which was directed By Ping Wang, Beijing, China.

The film festival will close with Hope, which was directed by Houstonian Lakisha Lemons. There are 9 Master Classes in many aspects of film/video production, including the use of Drones in filmmaking and how to obtain amazing free stock footage from NASA.
