Houston is home to 70,000 refugees from 78 different countries. Houston's diversity, booming economy and culture are in part a result of refugees who have brought new flavors and zest from their home countries. The event celebrates refugees' unrelenting perseverance and positivity. The day will be filled with cultural entertainment, children's activities, food and educational exhibits.
