The Tale of Kieu, a Vietnamese epic poem by Nguyen Du, is widely regarded as the most significant work within Vietnamese culture. The Broadway-style musical adaptation recounts the story of Thuy Kieu, a beautiful and talented young woman who sells herself to save her father from prison. Performed in English and Vietnamese.
