Three-Star Lt. General Paul Funk is the Commanding General of the U.S. Army’s III Corps and the Commander of Fort Hood. On three different occasions since 2015, III Corps has led operational control of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, the U.S-led coalition to defeat ISIS. Lt. General Funk will discuss how he, the U.S. military and its allies have fought to retake most of the territory once held by ISIS and what will be necessary to finish the mission. Lt.
