World Affairs Council of Greater Houston presents Under Secretary of Energy Paul Dabbar: The Future of Energy in the United States

Under Secretary of Energy, Paul M. Dabbar, will discuss the many priorities of the Department of Energy, and how it analyzes and prepares for the challenges of the future. He will review his role as the Department's principal advisor on fundamental energy research, energy technologies and science.

Under Secretary Dabbar will also highlight the Department's work to transfer technologies to the private sector and expand the possible commercial applications which can benefit from the Department's studies. Additionally, he will explain how changing international energy dynamics and ongoing research at our national laboratories will alter the future energy production and demands of the nation.
