Wine Dinner benefiting Second Chances

Chef Kiran Verma has created a four-course menu in collaboration with master sommelier Guy Stout to benefit the charity Second Chances. Stout has carefully selected a variety of wines to accompany the dinner, pairing a complimentary glass with each course. The evening includes an auction, with proceeds benefiting Second Chances, an organization that helps orphans in India.

First course
Soup flight with onion bhaji, tomato saffron, mulligatawny and corn chowder.
Pairing: Garbo Rosato, Monsant Spain

Second course
Crab cake with vindaloo aioli, pistachio crusted goat cheese with vine ripe tomato, hydroponic watercress, baby arugula and avocado.
Pairing: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Alexander Valley

Third course
Tandoori Salmon with mixed berry chutney, apricot biryani, kalonji naan and seasonal vegetables, tandoori Colorado rack of lamb with black berry demi-glace, apricot biryani, kalonji naan and seasonal vegetables.
Paring: Chardonnay and Immigrant Red, Donati Family Estate

Fourth course
Saffron Crème Brulee with fresh berries.
Pairing: Movendo Moscato, Veneto Italy
