WindSync joins forces with KINETIC Ensemble to present a concert celebrating the people and the sounds of the city. Rhythmic verve and folkish melodies weave through works by Miguel del Aguila, Jean Francaix, Alexandra T. Bryant, and Steve Reich. The evening concludes with Mark Buller's setting of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale The Town Musicians of Bremen in a special side-by-side performance with the Houston Youth Symphony Coda Music Program. The program will be presented in English and Spanish and is designed for audiences of all ages.
WindSync is funded in part by the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
