The program features cross-cultural music, WindSync's original costumed and choreographed adaptation of The Nutcracker and world premieres of winning compositions by America Festival for the Arts young composers with original choreography and dance by members of the Houston Ballet Academy.

The concert is presented in partnership with Houston Public Media, American Festival for the Arts and the Houston Ballet Academy.

Winner of the 2012 Concert Artist Guild International Competition as well as the Sylvia Ann Hewlett Adventurous Artist Prize, the ensemble has distinguished itself among classical music ensembles and is internationally recognized for dramatic and adventurous programing in venues ranging from concert halls to museums, universities, schools and national parks. The young, energetic group plays exclusively from memory, including elements of staging and choreography, and focuses on building connections with audiences through dynamic concert programming and charismatic stage presence.
