The Aurora Picture show is presenting What If, Why Not: Underground Adventures With Ant Farm in conjunction with the Cinema Arts Festival Houston at the University of Houston's College of Architecture Auditorium November 12.
The documentary examines the work of maverick art collective Ant Farm, best known for their installation of half-buried and graffitied Caddies at Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo. Incorporating archival footage, new video shot over the last decade and computer animation, the film considers the impact of Ant Farm's subversive and iconic work.
Attending the screening and available for a question and answer session immediately following are filmmakers Laura Harrison and Beth Federici and original Ant Farm members Chip Lord and Curtis Schreier.
