An evening of patriotism and entertainment is in store at Texas Avenue Park, with the festivities commencing at 5 p.m. In addition to a veterans ceremony, bingo, entertainers, inflatables, concessions, games and free watermelon and snow cones, a fireworks show will begin at 9:15 p.m.
