For the first time in its 55-year history, the Watercolor Art Society-Houston has assembled an exhibition of art work painted by its signature members. During its half century of existence WASH has recognized over 150 Signature members that have each gained entrance into three or more of its annual juried International Watermedia Exhibits. Many of these artists have been recognized by other watercolor societies around the country and some exhibit their work in commercial galleries.
This exhibit will illustrate the beauty and the power of the medium – from abstract to representational to experimental. The Houston community is invited to come and see how these signature members are making artistic expression through this humble medium and see how some of the best artists of today are breaking new ground with watercolor painting.
Following the opening day, the exhibit will be on display until January 5, 2020.
